The device failed to connect to the device because it reported that it needs to update the firmware. The firmware is updated through the debugging tool (there is nothing about it in the instructions, I spent about 2 hours on the support site). After many repeated calls with no answer, I left voicemail. No Answer. I sent three emails, no response other than the auto message they received. After many repeated attempts, I finally reached tech support and spent an hour and 15 minutes with them. I didn't manage to update the firmware. Switched to a different controller. I have the same problem with the replacement. This device is a great idea. If you can connect it to your home WiFi, that's great. I could not.
