I added Ubuntu 12.04 to my Windows PC as dual boot and neither my existing NetGear device nor a few others recommended by "helpful" vendors in local shops worked effectively (NetGear products do not work in principle) under Linux. I came across the Panda device while browsing message boards (I wasn't aware of them) and contacted them to confirm that the device I was looking to buy would work. I received an email response in LESS than FIVE MINUTES! I received confirmation that my choice would work, received some helpful comments, and had all my questions answered quickly and (it turned out) correctly (I know this should be the norm, but try calling other providers). I bought the device, installed the windows driver and everything worked fine, then booted into Ubuntu and didn't have to do anything at all (which was supposed to be plug and play). The device was recognized immediately and I was able to connect to the internet in seconds. Highly recommended - minimalistic (or should I say "green"?) packaging, no frills but works!
