I read some reviews about stripping the set screw so I spent some time on this install. The product came in proper packaging, with no scratches or dents. Before installation, it is important to back out the set screws slightly so you can adjust the levers in place. The set screws keep the levers from moving and I can see you could tear or damage them if you try to move the levers when the set screw is tightened. Installation is quite simple, as with any light there are two screws. In a canopy that you plan to tighten prior to installation, these screws will hold the light bar in place. The height of the fastening screws must also be ensured, as the union nut only allows limited tightening of the canopy and the canopy does not end flush with the ceiling if there is play. After installation, adjust the bars/gauges as needed. Actual lightbulbs are fairly specific to the point where the light is directed and will cause shadows. Just keep that in mind when targeting them. I had one of the end lights aimed at my stove and because of the shadow I decided to use a single light instead and the shadow was projected onto the floor. These lights are bright and provide white daylight. As bright as they are, they don't seem to light up the entire kitchen the way my old lamps did. The quality of the product seems decent enough. You get what you pay for, of course, but they are comparable to a set I looked at at a big store that would cost me over $200. The product is worth the money and I can definitely recommend it.
