Bought for my mother-in-law who has Alzheimer's and lives in a care center. She couldn't figure out how to use a cell phone or cordless phone anymore, but this device looks and sounds just like the one she's been using for years, and she can figure out how to use it. (Yes!) It looks and sounds just like the old Bell phones, only with more features like a volume control, and it doesn't weigh the 50 pounds that the originals had. ;) Ah, when phones were real phones. So, I'm old, but this is a great device if you have a landline (and you know what it is).
