Benefits: The design of the grille and fan blades allows for large airflow even at low settings. On 2 and 3 I can easily navigate my living room with vaulted ceilings. I can feel the air rushing into my dining room. With the exception of controls and motor parts, this fan is made entirely of plastic made in Mexico. The grill is held in place by 6 plastic tabs which are pretty good. Cons The instructions are mostly clear and can be followed, but the assembly process is lengthy and complicated. It took me about an hour or 15 hours to get through it. The blade locking nut screws onto the motor shaft to protect the threads during shipping. The plastic handle is not protected during shipping and mine was cracked about 2/3 the top part because something shifted during shipping. When I notified the company and requested a replacement, they required photos for the $1 top. That's not how you get customers. After reassembly, the fan still works fine, but I think it vibrates a bit due to a cracked leaf nut. Will I recommend it? Not sure at the moment.
