Review on Magicard Printer Supplies Bodno Software by Roy Whetstone

During installation I was a bit confused about how to install the ink spool and I didn't find very clear diagrams in the documentation but I was able to figure it out. The included Bodno software works fine for the most part, but there is a weird quirk of the USB key that causes my computer to freeze during reboot if I don't remove the key. I think the print quality is decent for the class of printer I bought, but I had trouble getting the color grading right. Unprocessed photos tend to have a yellow cast and are very dark despite my attempts to adjust the Pronto print settings, so I just learned how to "overcorrect" the photos in Photoshop with any necessary blue filters and lighten the shadows first . It would be nice to be able to do these fixes from Bodno, but I didn't find this functionality. All in all, the package does its job and our students and staff are very happy about personalized ID cards! The initial card design took me about 45 minutes to get everything right, and then it took me about a minute to open an existing card template file, replace the cardholder's name, use the built-in barcode generator, and replace the photo. . I can then send it to the printer and it prints a new card in less than a minute! I can print on standard blank cards that I purchased with the pack or on HID proximity cards that can be used to give our users access to doors.
