Great storage, but either too big or too small

These canisters have a great design. The process of sealing and opening the beans is very tactile and there is no doubt that the mechanism removes air as advertised. I have cans of both sizes. I buy whole bean coffee in 10-12 ounce bags. I felt the 64 ounce canister was oversized. Coffee usually only fills 1/4 of the can or even less, and this very tactile act of sealing and opening the can really shows how much space is wasted. I figured the 32 ounces would be better suited to my use and take up a little less space on my loading table. I wasn't expecting 32 ounces to be big enough for a full 12 ounce bag of beans, and I was right. I can put the lid on, but not the seal, and certainly not both at the same time. I don't generally stay full for very long so I don't mind, but someone who buys 32 ounces to store a "regular" 12 ounce bag of beans and uses the venting feature 100% of the time is likely to be disappointed be. I took some photos for those who encounter the same puzzle. If the company came out with a 48 ounce version I would buy it in a heartbeat.
