The best coffee storage container

Keeps coffee beans fresh on the worktop for a long time (room temperature). I've stored fresh, top-flavored coffee beans in it for at least a month. In my opinion, there is no better way to store fresh coffee beans. The trick is to start with freshly roasted coffee beans. I buy Peet's Coffee, Major Dickason's Blend Dark Roast off the shelf at Wegmen's grocery store with a roast date two to three weeks before my purchase with great success. I also bought it online when they offer no shipping…

If you want to keep your coffee fresh get this tin. The can looks chic, doesn't let air in and, most importantly, keeps the coffee fresh. I buy 8oz to 16oz of Blue Bottle beans each week (I especially appreciate the freshness of my coffee) and this container keeps them fresh all week. This device is also recommended by Seattle Coffee Gear, which validated my purchasing decision. I've seen a few negative reviews stating that Airscape removed the valve at the top, but as Seattle Coffee Gear…

Great storage, but either too big or too small

These canisters have a great design. The process of sealing and opening the beans is very tactile and there is no doubt that the mechanism removes air as advertised. I have cans of both sizes. I buy whole bean coffee in 10-12 ounce bags. I felt the 64 ounce canister was oversized. Coffee usually only fills 1/4 of the can or even less, and this very tactile act of sealing and opening the can really shows how much space is wasted. I figured the 32 ounces would be better suited to my use and take…

EXCELLENT CANISTER; SMART DESIGN; MANY APPLICATIONS!

I've never had storage containers as good as these Airspace 'vacuum' canisters. They are quite innovative in design. To keep an item fresh, all you have to do is add condiments, coffee, condiments, etc. to the tin and then insert a rubber-rimmed hard plastic insert into the tin to slide the suit out of the cockpit through the small hole in use. . An additional tightness class cover is then placed on top of the canister and voila, he/she stores the item in a sealed container. I use mine for…

Do not be fooled! - Food Jars and Canisters

Don't fall for the silly hype and marketing promotions of this container. You will see many paid barkers all over the internet and YouTube praising it and urging you on this latest useless trick. That's it, the trick. If you think it actually sucks air (especially between coffee beans) I can sell you a bridge in Brooklyn. No way does it actually work the way many people think it does. It simply displaces a small amount of air that is in the empty space of the container between the grains (or…

* Update February 2021

I use this daily and most of the time the suction power is enough. My coffee beans stay fresh for the three weeks it takes me to burn a pound, so I've changed my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars. It's useful and does the job, but it's a bit difficult for me to get and keep a good print. Tapping the bottom seems to help the beans settle evenly. It had good suction for a few days but now it goes up and down very easily and I really don't know if it's doing anything. Not a product I would buy again…

Not only do my beans stay fresher day in and day out than they used to - today, but now I can do more too Store beans longer. My beans come to me from a roastery in Kansas, so being able to order more and hold them longer is a huge benefit for me. Other reviewers have covered everything you need to know about these containers, most notably the GV review. But what I can do is tell you about my own transformative experience with them: A little over 2 years ago I bought one of these canisters on a

Stop your research. Just buy this one.

I can't believe how badly I've been scammed. I bought one of those $30 lockable canisters with useless CO2 valves. Look closely at the different brands and you'll notice a trend: they're almost all the same product, cut from the same fabric. They buy products from the same overseas product catalogue, record their logo, add a few stock images to the product page and at that point have a "unique" version of a standard product that several other brands are selling. They all have thousands and…
