I use this daily and most of the time the suction power is enough. My coffee beans stay fresh for the three weeks it takes me to burn a pound, so I've changed my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars. It's useful and does the job, but it's a bit difficult for me to get and keep a good print. Tapping the bottom seems to help the beans settle evenly. It had good suction for a few days but now it goes up and down very easily and I really don't know if it's doing anything. Not a product I would buy again and I'm sorry to even spend money on it. The seal on the piston does not work as stated. It goes in and out too easily without a good seal or suction. I contacted the seller who advised me to contact the manufacturer. Waiting for reply *Update: 1.22.19 the manufacturer called me back and sent a new inner sleeve. The seal appears to be poorly made. Will be updated when a new cover arrives. * (updated 1.26.19) The new lid arrived today as promised and the resistance to pushing the inner lid down and lifting it back up is causing significantly more resistance. Even with a leaky lid, my beans are holding up well, so I'm expecting very good results from this new thick liner. Excellent customer service from Planetary Design.
