The PG PA6118 air filter that I bought in March 2020 was a perfect fit and I was very satisfied. I bought the exact same air filter for my Kia Sportage in March 2021 and the air filter cover would not close after installing the new air filter. Upon closer inspection, the gaskets were of different sizes, the new filter gasket was much larger. My husband put the gasket from the old filter on top of the new filter and after installation the air filter closed completely. I don't think shrinking the old gasket made it any smaller because I didn't have an installation issue in 2020 when I replaced the air filter.
