The Revain AND Beck Arnley website says the center bracket 101-3784 fits my 1983 Toyota Celica Supra (No, they are not two different cars, Celica and Supra were the same model in 1983). Item NOT SUITABLE. Yes, it looks very similar, but the mounting flanges are not the same size as the original Toyota design. There are two problems: 1) The flanges are 1/16" or 1/8" too wide on each side. It only snaps into place when you press on it with a hammer. The flanges got into the "tunnel" zone of the car. When reinstalled, the center support moved approximately 10 degrees from the driveshaft centerline. Attempting to mount this way will result in premature failure. And of course, you never have to force such an important part. 2) The slots in the flange on each side where the mounting bolt goes do not line up with the bolt holes on the vehicle. The slots were about 3/16-1/4 inch further apart (on each side) than the bolt hole on the machine. The screw hole was only 25% visible when looking through the flange on each side. I HAD to use this part because I needed to get this car back on the road. I could not return the item. I'm NOT happy I had to do the following to get it working. For the #1 edition mentioned above, I had to cut about 1/8 inch off the end of each flange. I used a hacksaw for this. I then adjusted the center support and marked where the screw holes should be. a large heavy duty washer to hold the center support in place. NOTE: Be sure to install the center support on the driveshaft BEFORE making these modifications. The center mount on the driveshaft allows you to get a much better position than trying to "aim". You can also use a small angle so the bracket is at 90 degrees to the driveshaft. The center bracket appears to be well fitted and of good quality. It just doesn't fit at all.
