When inserting the batteries, stack them on top of each other and insert them at a steep angle so that the top battery in the stack is UNDER the metal plate on the side of the battery compartment. Then just click on it and down. Slide the cover while holding the batteries. To mess. Turn on the switch. BAMM! That's what you expected! Great joy. I bought 4 of these. My legs hurt for a week from chasing this thing like a 20 year old with a bunch of 20 year olds. They look great in the dark. Very durable. Buy one, rock out and play Frisbee with someone.
