After leaving Android, I have conflicting emotions (the last time I used iOS for a long time on the iPhone 5). Of course, both platforms are collaborating and taking the best from one another. Yet when it comes to software, there are a few programs that Google (subjectively) excels at, like Maps, Photo (with a chronology of movements and specific information about the photo, such as the device, weight, etc.), and Keep (Google notes are far more practical than Apple's). The built-in email client is a different issue; it is incredibly complicated and challenging to use. A decent camera is one of the pluses (not only hardware - it is in conjunction with the application itself). Nonetheless, there are now numerous respectable rivals. Quite a few nice tiny OS-level features.
