I like this product because my dog took to it right away and he sleeps on it, like it is a pillow. The only issue we had was size. Our dog is around 75 lbs and his neck measured 18 inches. So, we ordered the large. However, with it inflated as suggested, which is about 95%, there is enough space between it and his neck that he has gotten a paw stuck in it twice. This wouldn't be a big deal, but it happened once when we were all sleeping and not sure how long the poor boy was like that. The second time was after he'd been wearing it 4-5 days and we left him home while shopping. When we got home, he was somewhat frantic and standing right at the door waiting for us on his 3 legs with one stuck in the donut. We do have his collar in it, like suggested. He's only gotten it off once while we were all asleep. So, not sure how he did it. He hasn't done it since that one time and it's been 4 days since.Just an aside for people interested. we take the donut off when he goes outside since he can't fit through his doggie door with it on and he doesn't seem to lick or itch much outside anyway. We also take it off for his eating and walks. This seems to work for us. His issue is not surgery. just a skin irritation in front and back leg "pits" and ear infection. It keeps him from licking those areas and there is less itching. He also is not able to itch his ear. We are able to put it back on without much problem from him too. I do appreciate the instructions for introducing him to it. That helped. Overall, great product and would buy again.
