Loud but Great: Residential Fans

I've been looking for a replacement desktop fan for a while and settled on this one for a number of reasons. Firstly, it wobbles and secondly, the controls are on the front of the fan and are easily accessible. Overall I'm very happy with it and it keeps me cool on warm days. As I said, it has a few "bugs". First, it's fairly loud for its size, even on the lowest settings. Second, it has two speeds, low and high. Although they should be "high" and "high" because that thing is really cool! Overall I am very satisfied and the quality seems to be what you would expect from a big brand. I can definitely recommend it as a table fan, but maybe not as a bedside fan as it's a bit noisy (but maybe that's a plus if you're using it in a child's room?)

Pros
  • CREATE COOLING WIND โ€” The Wind Tower desktop fan has 2 speeds and has been upgraded to deliver 15% more airflow than previous models. Provides good airflow and enough white noise, making it ideal for home and work cooling, a good night's sleep, and tide control.
