Hole too big

The opening of a standard 5 x 7 mat needs to be a quarter inch smaller on the sides to allow for some overlap. So this must be a joke: the holes are cut to be exactly 5x7, so the 5x7 photo will fall through the hole. The solid film allowed me to line up my photos with almost no gaps. But it was an unnecessary hassle (which I had to deal with because the framed photos were a gift and I didn't have time to find new carpets). Recommend taking mats elsewhere.

Pros

SKILL - professionals for professionals. A 45° crop adds depth to the photo. The white core keeps the color for many years and brings out the beauty of your work.
