    Screws broke every time

    I ended up not being able to use any of this kit because the screws were so flimsy that when I screwed them in deep enough that they weren't sticking out the screws broke - they really do look like plastic inside. But no hard set of screws in the box.

    Great picture hanging kit. Rated for 30 pounds.

    Includes almost everything you need to attach a cable to hang your picture on the frame. It includes a screwdriver, but a cordless screwdriver is much easier. You will also need a good pair of pliers to crimp the wire and wire cutters to cut the wire to length. I was able to install a 25.5 lb mirror and a 15 lb photo frame in about 20 minutes.

    Not worth the trouble.

    Wire and screws are useless. When installing the hardware, 3 of the 4 screws I used snapped into the same place, leaving 2/3 of the screws in the frame. You can't tighten them properly without breaking them, so the bolts are really useless. After this experience with them, I lost all confidence in the wire that came with them. Not worth it as you will end up with overpriced braces and not much.

    You get what you pay for, low quality product!

    Screws are half twisted! The wire will not be twisted and loosened too easily, THIS IS ONLY FOR VERY SMALL LIGHTWEIGHT THINGS! (if you don't want to watch it fall off) cheap metal screws, inconsistent hanger loops (some are the wrong shape) and worst of all, THE RISK OF DAMAGE TO THE EXPENSIVE FRAME OR PAINTWORK FROM THESE THINGS! WHERE ARE AMERICAN THINGS MADE? DOES ANYONE ELSE KNOW?

    No instructions included, overall happy with purchase.

    I liked the price for what I needed but no instructions were provided. I'm a smart person so it's not hard to understand but instructions would be helpful to avoid mistakes and for people who are not smart it would be helpful to have them. I need this to hang a 1/2" thick wooden 27" clock that weighs less than five pounds and I doubled the wire for extra security.

    Not as useful as I was hoping

    I bought this kit to hang a painting without a hook on the back. I have used all MacGyver and tried different methods such as: There are also no instructions included with the kit. So unless you're a DIYer, you might be confused on how to use the parts exactly. In the end I found a solution on how to hang the frame, but it turned out to be a lot more complicated than it needed to be.

However, I then attempted to install the D-rings on the back of two picture frames that did not have pre-installed frames.     Missing D-rings, flimsy! I do not recommend!

    The product description is wrong, it says it comes with 20 D-rings. Mine didn't arrive until I was 18. I didn't find out until I was in the process of hooking up some frames. Also, the wire doesn't have a plastic cover, which is good, but the wire that comes with it comes loose, making it difficult to use clamps as the ends keep pulling apart. Also, the wire in the reel snapped, OH! Be careful when untangling because of protruding wires. The metal attached to the D-rings flexes very slightly…
