High expectations, broken results

I was happy to find a hanger that didn't have ugly hooks around the edges. I have the 5.5" which should hold 6.5 pounds even though my plate was under 2 pounds but quite large. Follow the instructions for washing the plate, wetting the glue and sticking the disc. A full 30 Waited hours and the seal seemed tight.I checked again 6 hours later and it looked great.However after 48 hours of sagging I found that my hand painted Italian pottery had fallen apart on the floor and the cute little yellow one disk was still hanging on the wall.
