The technology of this product leaves a lot to be desired. The base that attaches to the wall is about 3/4 inch smaller than the base of the lamp. They come with two sets of mounting screws, one about 1/2 inch longer than the other, to secure the lamp to the base. base plate. I wasn't able to use 2 short screws. I had to use one of each. The inner support plate has a bad threaded hole and the short screw is not properly tightened. The lampshade has a bracket that cannot be tightened properly because the threads do not go deep enough to reach the lampshade. There is a hole in the shadow that is also too big, causing the shadow to move slightly out of plane. Finally, they provide a ground screw for the ground wire (included), but the power cord isn't three prong, so what's the point? Actually, it's a decent looking thing.
