. OEM filter (see attachment). Ironically, the OEM filter has the Mann and BMW logos. Gee, I wonder who makes this filter for BMW? The new Mann filter looked the same as the OEM filter but without the BMW logo. It's even the same part number from the Mann filter box on the OEM filter - you can see that in the photo too. I had to remove three screws in the passenger footwell and it took a total of 14 minutes (I timed it) with a Phillips screwdriver to replace this filter. I could have done it in less than 10 minutes if I wasn't a 6ft 1in weight lifter with 215 pounds. is that this Mann filter is an OEM filter for at least a 2011 Z4 and costs less than half the cost of a BMW OEM. So if you don't want to sacrifice $$ BMW, buy a Mann filter and install it yourself if the maintenance warranty isn't covered by 4 years / 48,000. If you can unscrew 3 screws and slide off the cover, you can also avoid half an hour of work in the BMW store. Last time I checked, the BMW store was $130 an hour local time and that labor-intensive filter change can cost you over $125 + taxes when you can do it yourself for less than $25. Hope that helps!
