I am a larger woman so I bought the mens size in this robe because I wanted to make sure it really covered me. Right out of the package it is soft enough to wear it but I put it through the wash/dry and it came out even softer.So pleased with this robe, it is well made and has nice little finish details. I paid more than double for my last flannel robe at a major brand retailer and it was not this well made. Recommend.
