Before that I only used badger hair shaving brushes. I bought it based on the reviews and was not disappointed. It's a lot cheaper (almost half the price) than any good quality badger brush, but the quality is much better. My rating refers to the one-time use and I am convinced of it. Let's see how it behaves over time. It uses a lot less soap (those who use expensive shaving soaps will be very pleased) and much better and tighter skin without much effort. I have to soak the badger hairbrush in warm water for about 10 minutes before using it to soften my hair. However, this does NOT apply to this brush. It's flushing and time. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. The brush came in a very nice box and with a nice handle and feels like a higher quality brush.
