I got this trainer as a gift for a friend who plays golf all the time, is always watching on the computer and is always trying to figure out how to improve his shots. In other words, he's trying to do just that for himself, at least as far as putting is concerned. My friend says if you are struggling to improve your putting this guide works well to improve you. The manual is larger than it looks in the picture and it's not just paper. It will survive some abuse. If I had to guess, these would be things that caddies could carry around to improve golfers' game by borrowing them for practice. All in all a worthy addition to golf training equipment.
