I LOVE THESE TABLES! They are small and light but stylish! They appear to be very strong and consistent. They are exactly what I had hoped for. They do EXACTLY the job I bought them for - fit a large lamp and a box of tissues! There's still room for a TV remote, reading glasses, a drink, a small book, etc. I don't have young children or pets, so I can't repair this kind of wear and tear. They were very easy to assemble and I like that the metal rods connecting the top and bottom of the table are steel gray instead of black which softens the look of the table. The top and bottom arrived in perfect condition, and the real gray wood ("fake birch") pattern is beautiful and eye-catching. Easy to clean, simply wipe with soap and water. Her generous height is also good. My recent edge tables have been lower and I like the height of these better. They're half on my carpet and half on the floor and I'm not worried about them tipping over. On the bottom two shelves of the table I placed some heavy decorative items. I don't know if it "binds" them. They are just so damn attractive and useful! I love them and would definitely buy them again.
