We have tried *several* different replacements for our halogen under cabinet lights. For example, argon halogens, which give off good light (like our original halogens) but get hot enough to cook eggs in the cupboard; and numerous LED sets advertised as "warm" when "painful" would be more accurate. Then we rolled the dice and tried it. Hallelujah! The light is actually "warm"; very close to our old halogens which we loved but burned out when a rogue lightning bolt hit our house. and now they are unavailable. This kit contains everything you could possibly need and some things you probably don't need. Ease of installation. Everything is stated. We saw a review that said parts were missing, but maybe it's a different product? And I think someone said the light was that nagging blue-green color (which was actually the case with some of our earlier attempts), but I think they accidentally ordered the "bright white" versions. Ours are exactly "warm", 2700 Kelvin. We are very happy with them. We have just ordered two more sets for the rest of the cabinets. I don't know about longevity, we'll see; but LEDs tend to last a long time (although I'm not sure they can withstand lightning strikes). Highly recommended so far. UPDATE in a few days: We still really like these kits and will be installing two more kits, but they actually have a bit of a "greenish" tint to them, especially when you have them turned off. . It's almost imperceptible on high settings, but quite noticeable on low settings. Again, not as bad as some others we've tried, but still not as good as incandescent or halogens. Maybe LEDs just can't do that. Nevertheless recommended! :-)
