This Honeywell switch is identical to the GE 14291 switch that I recently installed and connected to a Samsung Smartthings hub. Both switches are from JASCO. Their manuals have the same text and diagrams. Here the similarities end: Pros: 1) the Honeywell manual is printed in a much larger and easier to read booklet than the GE manual; 2) The Honeywell switch was easily recognized by my Smartthings hub, while the GE 14291 required a reboot before it was recognized. Cons: I can't change the Honeywell LED setting. The corresponding instructions in the manual do not work. So I'm sticking with the default - the LED is on at shutdown. The GE 14291 allows me to change its LED settings in my Smartthings app.
