Review on Bucilla Counted Stitch 13 Inch 45633 by Morgan Gilmore

I bought this set after seeing a review saying the threads are not sorted because I love the sorting process. I think I got it right, but I ended up missing a secondary color. Well, that's fine. What I don't like and can't handle is the type of fabric that was provided. This isn't stated in the product description, but I was counting on Aida canvas, either 14 or 18 counts. It's actually a 28 gauge weave, which is something very different and extremely beautiful. Instructions call for sewing through 2 strands of linen. I'm not sure I want to do that because it seems like an extra chance for error. Also, the fabric is so thin I'm not sure I can handle eye strain. I could buy a piece of Aida fabric and use that instead. The design is very beautiful.
