Review on Unleash Performance: Under Armour Boys' Boost Short by Sammie Rodriguez

I was disappointed in these shorts. We used to have the same solid color black shorts in size 4T (middle in 1st photo, top in 2nd). New white shirts 4, new gray 4T. The length is ok, maybe a bit long for what is currently trending but not bad, 4 is a bit longer than 4T which is expected. The new 4T and the old 4T are the same length, no change. BUT the width is larger (the difference is in the second photo), and my son barely fits in the old width. The new shorts don't fit around his waist, that extra 1 1/2 inches is huge for a toddler. I don't know why they are wider, same brand, same design on the shorts, bought about a year apart. I wouldn't recommend them to skinny guys and am disappointed that I couldn't just go online and buy shorts knowing they were the same size as the brand's previous size. I'm not going back, just sew/tuck in the elastic.
