Well the first time I tried it was a bit clumsy so I went back and watched the video. After that, sailing went smoothly. This defiantly works as shown and you get consistent burgers. I had a little trouble flipping the burgers the first time as there is a gap where the hole is so the meat wants to hang down so I may have to cook it a little longer on the bottom and adjust the cooking time. I liked putting cheese in the middle as it no longer drips in my grill, which in itself is a good reason to get those abs. It's a little fiddly at first, but once you've done it a few times, it's definitely worth the cost.
