I have a very plump min-ping (miniature Doberman) with very short fine hair on his body. He always catches cold very easily. He fell in love with this super soft and warm sweater the day I received it! In fact, he quickly learned to put his hands through his armholes himself. When it's cold outside, he refuses to go outside without this sweater! It's very well made, warm, very soft and stretchy so it never shrinks. This will keep him warm when he's outside on cold or cold days, but not so warm that he's uncomfortable. I should have taken a very large size instead of 2x. It's a bit long for my dog but he loves it and I wouldn't trade it for anything else!
