I have a 2004 Ford Excursion that I drive a lot. I want to listen to music on my iPhone, but Excursion doesn't support Bluetooth. Technology has come a long way. I plugged this product into a service port (aka cigarette lighter) and after a little tweaking, connected it to my phone. I have music and speakerphone. The total installation time was less than 10 minutes. Searching for the desired FM station is not registered. There is a ClearFM app for the iPhone that will determine the appropriate local transmitter to use. I tuned my radio to that station and then tuned the station to the same station and it worked. To set up the transmitter, you need to press and hold the button with the phone icon until it starts flashing, and then tune in to it. The instructions say so. The sound quality is excellent. I've had good feedback from my passengers and from the people I call.
