It was worth it, worked great, still works years later as my nephew has this truck today!

Screwed straight. Has worked great for years. That went on until I sold the car. You really need to be mechanically inclined to install. Just because I've stated it's easy to install, it's based on my mechanical ability to get the job done with ease.
