This product does a good job of removing hair (I've used it on my bikini line and dark areas of hair on my thighs). It doesn't remove my hair 100% like professional wax. I also think it's less painful than professional waxing (and a lot cheaper and more convenient). I was hesitant to try because I didn't know if I could voluntarily injure myself, but it's really not that bad. When I first used the strips, I was just squeezing them in my hands to warm them up, and when I pulled them apart, the wax was distributed unevenly between the two strips (leaving me only one usable strip). Later, when I waxed a second time, I reread the instructions and it says to rub the strip between your hands to warm it up. It worked and I was able to use both strips. I also trimmed them to length so I could only grow a thin section and that worked great (so I ended up with four thin, long strips). Redness remained after I depilated my thighs, but that went away after about 24 hours (so I recommend using it the day before your event). The included wax removal oil pad is effective and soothing. I love this product and will continue to use it.
