This bento box turned out to be weak and leaking. Within a month of daily use, one of the latches broke, a short drop broke off the rim of the main container, and it was already starting to smell, although it was washed when my son got back from school. I can add that he is careful with his belongings. As soon as it arrived in the mail, I tested it for "tightness" by pouring water into one section, snapping the lid on firmly, and turning it upside down. When I opened it, there was water in all areas. I tried putting applesauce in one section and it spilled sticky juice all over the rest as well. So now I have to use small cups to carry liquids, defeating the purpose of getting a bento box in the first place. For the price I expected better quality. Can't recommend this box.
