The rope didn't work but we were still able to use the shorts
I don't know if it was just us, but we couldn't tighten the drawstring even though the shorts were a bit loose. My son was still wearing them and the shorts stayed up but he was a bit uncomfortable with them riding lower than he wanted. Otherwise they are good. He likes the look, the length. I just wish we could tighten the cord.
