Perfect for my needs. Since it is a wire mesh, you can easily deal with power cords. I have used them before and this one is being used as a bedside table. You shouldn't load them with too many heavy books, but other than that, they're great for typical bedside items like alarm clocks, cell phones, chargers, and wipes. You should have a basket or tray for very small items.
