Well it's weight.
Not much to say here - your notes show a weight of 1lb. I find this too heavy for a belt drive turntable, but this is what is most commonly found in turntable stabilizers. Adding foam to the bottom. Please note: On Rega turntables, this weight is too heavy to close the dust cover while playing.
