Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not suitable for all-purpose cleaners

First, UV light is a high-energy form of ultraviolet light that can destroy DNA, making it great for killing germs and viruses. This also makes it dangerous for living cells. This device does not have safety features and warnings. Never shine UV light on skin or eyes. Be careful when using it near reflective surfaces. Wearing UV goggles and a pair of gloves is highly recommended. I bought a UV and UV detection card to test this UV. While the test card showed that it was emitting UV light, the card also showed that the light was not powerful enough to kill germs and viruses within 5 minutes of exposure.

Pros
  • Household products
Cons
