Not for me in my review

I didn't realize they don't have the "ground hole" or the 3rd hole for the connectors that have that 3rd pin. I happened to need the two outlets for devices that have that type of connector and having to buy the adapter on top of the almost $30 that this thing costs., it's just too much. This device should be worth about $10. I had to send it back, unfortunately!

Can be used to create customized schedules, allowing you to automate your home

Cons

The device may not work well in homes with multiple switches close to each other
