You can't beat this monitor for modern Macs with TB3. It's well built, has a nice display, built in AC converter (no power adapter) and Mac OS integration. My repair was in perfect condition except it came with a Thunderbolt 2 cable instead of a TB3 (repaired by seller in 4 days). It's great to save $400 on a new option like this. My only complaint about it is the lack of a second TB3 port. Without this you cannot daisy chain other displays, drives or other TB3 devices. I was planning to connect this monitor to a TB3 raid array, but it doesn't power the MacBook Pro. So I'm stuck by connecting two cables to the MBP. Hardly a disaster, but not quite in the way I imagined. If I decide to add a second monitor it will be a bit more of an issue. All in all, a great monitor for Mac users at a great price with annoyingly limited connectivity. I was aware of this shortcoming beforehand, but convinced myself that the OS integration and 5k resolution as well as the refrb price are enough to make up for it.
