Good as a cover but so-so as a stand

I bought it as a cover but wanted something with a decent stand. It's a beautiful cover and I love the materials - love the pen holder too. As a kickstand, though, this is true - the ribs on the case's kickstand are fairly small and seem to wear out fairly quickly. My iPad mini slides right past them at even the slightest angle. And when I want to put that on a separate stand, the lid is too bulky for it to sit properly. So I'll probably look for something else. Update - I ordered a finite case with magnetic stand for the iPad mini 5 which is AMAZING - the stand stays in place much better. It worked so well I bought it for my son's iPad Pro.
