Review on invisibobble Original Traceless Spiral Hair Ties for Women - Crystal Clear (Pack of 3) – Strong Grip, Non-Soaking Hair Accessories by Divina Alejandro

Recently purchased after listening to the podcast "Breaking Beauty" (Volume 19) which interviewed the founder of Invisibobble. I loved her story (the idea came up in college, I started a brand with less than $10,000 and made the coveted 30 under 30 list) and decided I had to give it a try! They come in a tiny box (at least smaller than I expected). ) with 3 "Invisibles". They are very small but have good stretch and I can easily tie my hair 3 times which is about average for me with a regular scrunchie. I like the Invisibobble very much and completely translate my usual hair ties into everyday life. They don't wrinkle or cling to my hair, and more importantly, I don't have to constantly pull my hair into a ponytail/loose bun. Absolute VICTORY! However, there is an OPPOSITE: If I want a tight, smooth back or a knot, I can't use them. I find that they don't hold my hair tight enough for any of these hairstyles. I probably wouldn't want to use them to secure the end of the braid either, but haven't tried it yet so can't say for sure (they also have nano sizes which can solve this problem). Overall I like Invisibobble and will continue to use them and I believe they will do a lot less damage to my hair! Tip: Place your used Invisibobble in a cup of warm water and it will return to its original size or begin to stretch!
