We placed our PS4 in a media cabinet and the controllers were unable to function properly over such a long distance. I bought this antenna, watched some YouTube videos and installed it in less than an hour. We also bought an extension cord so we can mount the antenna off the rack, but a word of caution: make sure the extension cord you get fits the antenna; We ended up with two male ends and had to get a barrel connector to make it work. It's not very expensive to get a barrel connector, it just took longer than we wanted. If you're thinking about extending the range of your PS4 but have doubts about opening the case, DON'T DO IT! With a little work and removing a few screws, it's really easy and you won't regret it! We can now play our PS4 over 100 feet away with no lag or noticeable issues!
