Review on 53534 Titan Safety Toe Men's Shoes by Timberland PRO by Greg Hammett

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Really good shoes for men

Likes1. good traction 2. Good looks 3. Finger protection 4. Fits - remember I bought them a half size up because I was worried about the safety of the socks and couldn't use a shoe stretcher. I also bought them wide for the same reason. I usually wear 12.5 but they are hard to find. So I buy 12 and use my amazing shoe stretcher to expand and lengthen them. Works perfectly. But for safety reasons I was worried the stretching wouldn't work so I upped to 13 2E and got a replacement from Dr. Scholl's active series. Fits perfectly. Dislike 1. Bought a shoehorn to make putting shoes on easier. Just to clarify, when my foot is in the shoe, it fits great. But getting your foot in the narrow opening at the top isn't easy. However, I bought two more safety shoes from another company, the same shoes, only one was a 12 2E and the other was a 13 2E. 12 was too small so I sent it back for fear I would get stuck on it if I tried to stretch and it didn't work. Then I took the 13 2E and tried what I did with it and they were so loose in the opening that they fell off with practically every step. My point is that if these shoes had a loose top, they would most likely do the same, so while I'm not crazy about using a shoehorn, which works great, it's better than a shoe that falls off. .2. They spoil easily.3. they are heavy It has to do with safety toes but the other safety shoes I returned had a much lighter toe box. Generally very good shoes. I work in a factory and walk over half a million square feet every day. They have good traction and protect my toes from my clumsiness.

Pros
  • Clothing, shoes and jewelry
Cons
  • Small maintainability
