Review on ⚡ Upgraded Portable EV Charger Level 2, Morec 32 Amp, NEMA14-50, 26ft Cable, 220V-240V, Electric Vehicle Charging Station, Compatible with All EV Cars by Don Barbee

I have a Chev Bolt and I installed a 50 amp circuit to charge my car in my driveway. Initially the box seemed to work very well, but lately the Morec connector and the cable that goes to the control box are getting hot. I'm concerned about melted cork or fire so don't recommend this until I know more. may pose a safety issue due to the use of electronics or materials, or improper design. The price was reasonable and it worked well the first few times, but now I'm having an issue with the plug overheating. Please look at the picture of what it is doing to my fork, you can see the discoloration. I replaced this connector with a new one, but it does the same thing. Also, I bought an RV 14-50 (50 amp) extension cord just to unplug the Morec charger and the unit still gets very hot. Another brand of charger arrived today and it works great. no heat build-up. Morek has written to me but no further action has been taken. The seller refuses to return the goods, claiming that the plug is normal. I tried using an IR thermostat to measure the temperature of the plug, but it couldn't read a temperature that high. I would be wary of this product.
