Review on πŸ”² Starrett 50093 CB24 4R Satin-Chrome Starrett Square: Precision at its Finest by Brock Chisholm

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The 24 " blade is the perfect complement to shorter tools

My 6" Starrett C11H-6-4R and 12" brother were fantastic tools in the carpentry shop. However, sometimes I needed a longer combined square. For example, I just built some 20" drawers and a 22x20" cabinet. The 24" blade was absolutely perfect. The handle doesn't sag or play even with a 24" blade. Wonderful. I really like that it quickly fits right into my existing Starrett pencils, allowing me to change blades in seconds can to save on extra pins. Accuracy is impressive with this level of interchangeability, after all it really is what you pay for. I don't like those Starretts in the store but it doesn't seem to bother them at all. They look exactly like when purchasing.I'm sure there are good imitations out there for less money but after a few years I really appreciate the engineering and quality of the blades and handles. Some give a star for value due to the high price but for me this blade and combination squares with five stars are no problem.
