My 6" Starrett C11H-6-4R and 12" brother were fantastic tools in the carpentry shop. However, sometimes I needed a longer combined square. I am disappointed. I have a 12" Starrett Combo Square (second photo) which is my daily measuring tool. I use it often. So I decided to buy a 24" ruler to use with my square head. Accuracy 0, 0001" by 6" 0.0025mm. The paper I used to test the rule is 0.075mm +/- 0.001 wide (quite accurate at 20 points), about 0.003".
