I'm very glad I bought this instead of the more expensive single aluminum version. They are strong and fit perfectly in the lift slots on my 2011 Mini Cooper. Come to think of it, the lift slots are plastic, so it seems to me that plastic on plastic is less likely to cause damage. They fit perfectly on my HF Daytona brand 3 ton jack with spare. I wish I had bought them sooner to avoid damaging one of my lifting lugs with a scissor jack that deforms the corner of my eye. even with extreme caution. I was able to clean it with a razor but those pads would have prevented damage from the start. I believe that whichever pads you choose, you should buy two so you can lift both sides at the same time during a major overhaul if needed. Work. The price is right as you get two pads for less than the cost of an aluminum pad elsewhere.
