Make sure you unplug it from its power socket!

I'm sure it works great. After 3 uses where I unplugged the power cord and didn't realize my power cord didn't have surge protection. A few hours later, at the nearest camp, he was found missing and it was too late to return. Therefore 3 stars. It would be nice if the surge protector could be attached to the cable so they are always connected. Maybe plastic straps? Or make it bright yellow to make it clear.
