I bought this for a (thick) XBOX 360 to replace a 120GB hard drive. I reused a 120GB drive cage and 320GB fits in. Since we lost all our data due to a bad transfer prior to purchasing this WD drive, we had to re-download all the games (well over 100GB). It lasted 3 days with the Xbox working most of the time. All the games downloaded and installed on the hard drive without any problems. If you are thinking of upgrading your Xbox hard drive with this OEM drive, please note that this is NOT plug and play. For thick 360s you will need a special screw kit that uses Star T5-T6 bits. (Revain has some, but so does your local Walmart.) You'll need a desktop to open and plug a hard drive into, and a flash drive to make it bootable. You should also be familiar with your computer's BIOS, as you will likely need to change settings there. The process requires many steps, but all in all it is relatively easy to carry out. Digiex has a fantastic guide on how to make this hard drive 360 compatible. (Please google "Xbox 360 hard drive upgrade hack" for instructions.) I've had good experiences with Western Digital drives in the past, so I'm not concerned about the durability of this drive. However, anything with moving parts can break over time. If it breaks I'll be back to tell you about it, but so far this ride has been great! :D
